Philly Coffee Festival Pours Its Third Annual Weekend at the 23rd Street Armory
PHILADELPHIA — Dozens of specialty coffee roasters will fill the 23rd Street Armory this weekend for two days of tastings as the Philly Coffee Festival returns for its third year.
The festival runs Saturday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 18, bringing coffee businesses from Philadelphia and beyond under one roof at 22 South 23rd Street, according to PhillyVoice.
Tastings from participating vendors are included with admission. The lineup includes Little Amps Coffee Roasters, Càphê Roasters, Ellis Coffee, Pilgrim Roasters and Brainwave Coffee Roasters, along with more than a dozen other coffee businesses.
Each day is divided into sessions. General admission runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by an afternoon session from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Early admission ticket holders can enter at 9 a.m., and a limited number of all-day passes include both sessions with in-and-out privileges.
Coffee is the main draw, but tastings take place alongside live bands and other entertainment inside the Armory. Food will also be available to purchase.
Attendees can bring their own reusable mugs. Children younger than 13 do not need a ticket when accompanied by an adult, though organizers discourage bringing young children because hot beverages are served throughout, according to PhillyVoice.
The festival is organized by Craft Hospitality LLC, with tickets sold per session through Eventbrite.
